Bugatti Veyron 1945 by RC82 Workchop

Posted in Uncategorized on February 5th, 2013 by admin

It takes a dreamer to envision the past with something new and make it sexy. The RMK CLOTHiNG crew stumbled across this digital rendering of a 1945 Bugatti Veyron from the creative minds at RC82 Workchop. The Bugatti belongs to the same group as the makers of the Beetle and this rendering really draws from that design marriage.

The Polish artist(s) incorporated all the design cues of the original (or classic) Volkswagen Beetle, from the deep-dish steel wheels and bug eyes, to the window frames and exterior door hinges, on the shape of the Bugatti Veyron hypercar.

RMK CLOTHiNG takes pride in modernizing classics as seen in our Beretta Varsity that applies modern fit and trim to a classic varsity. They say you can’t fuck with a classic, “they” are kind of right.

Craftsmans Return – Westin Mitchell Design Group

Posted in Uncategorized on August 15th, 2012 by admin

Hand crafted furniture is making a comeback and Westin-Mitchell Design Group is leading the way. Remember when people used to take pride in craftsmanship and make stuff that would actually last? A lot of us have forgotten and rely on the big box Scandinavian crap that is both hard to assemble and does not last at all.

RMK CLOTHiNG is all about updating the classics with modern techniques and trims. This being said, it gives us much honor when we see updated spins on the classics fusing reclaimed wood, metals, and inspired techniques to build refined functional furniture. Recently Designer/Fabricator Preston Johnston, a friend of RMK who has always had a knack for woodcraft and design took the leap into the furniture world with his business partner, and they are making some incredible pieces. The pieces are well designed and built to last. What else could you ask for?

One of  our favorites. Perforated steel & reclaimed wood table with some stools, ready for action.

They continue to make superb pieces on a weekly basis so make sure to check them out. They specialize in custom work so if you can dream it, they will make it. More on the Westin Mitchell site.

RMK “Engine Summer” Release Film

Posted in Uncategorized on July 25th, 2012 by admin

With Summer in full force, we present to you our “Engine Summer” collection release via Karmaloop. The collection is appropriately named after our love of classic cars & bikes and what is atmospherically known as an “Indian Summer”. Native prints on woven fabric have been creatively fused onto shirt cuffs and side panels on polos and tanks. We got a little snakey and used REAL PYTHON on the cuffs on our Pythos buttondown shirt.

For your viewing pleasure. Bikes, Babes, Native Prints, Snakeskin & Magic.

WATCH HERE: RMK ENGINE SUMMER RELEASE

An Indian summer is aheat wave that occurs in the autumn. It refers to a period of considerably above normal temperatures, accompanied by dry and hazy conditions, usually after there has been a killing frost. Depending on latitude and elevation, the phenomenon can occur in the Northern Hemisphere between late September and mid November.

Get out & shine!
